a little bit giddy

confession #1  i love making lists. lists of books to read, films to watch, fruits in season, useful french words to learn, before-i-hit-30 lists. a blog has been on my list for awhile, but lately i've just let the page sit here, resigned to just being a (slightly creepy) blog-stalker. 

now the plunge has been taken, who knows what might happen on this blank screen of mine? hopefully it will give me a little bit of breathing room, let me write about the things that i LOVE ... words and music, heart-wrenchingly sad french films, the $10 find, the one-legged bird...

as for who might stumble across it... everyone is welcome, friend or foe. i hope that it can be cause for inspiration, open up new views and bring a spotlight upon beautiful writers + artists.
